The Unbeatable CIMG Real Estate Company of the year 2019 did it again, Lakeside Estate as a leading Real Estate Development company launched it City Market to serve the needs of the community basic shopping needs Experience.
On the 27 April 2022, Lakeside Estate invited all residents and Stakeholders all over to witness it launch of City Market as a new feature of the community aside it anonymous facilities like the Lakeside Marina Park, Lakeside Police Station, the Business Centre, Fuel Station, the library and among many that makes the Estate a confined place to live.
The Director of the Estate Mr. Salah Kweku Kalmoni in his speech made it clear that the purpose of City Market as a feature to the Estate is to create conveniency to the residents, grow the informal sector in the Estate whiles adding value to the investment created over these years.
The event brought together Members from the Municipal Assembly who has been the backbone of community support facilities. Mr. Felix Ameyaw who stood in for the MCE emphasized that, this is great initiative by Lakeside Estate and serves as a pace for other Real Estate company in the municipality to follow. We will hence forth put a stop to license to all temporal structure he lamented. Mr. Felix concluded that, a project like this helps the community and the municipality as a whole.
Mr. Isaac Ntiamoah, Marketing Manager of Lakeside Estate who stood in for Mr. Kofi Opoku Manu, the Chief Architect of the project gave the overview of the entire project. This is just the first phase of the project he said. The entire project will have, a bus station, Public Utility, Car park, Phase 2 of the market Square, rest rooms and management office. He explained the nature of the operations and the number of shops that is going to be added. The current phase has 29 shops in all with various kinds of market items, from vegetable, groceries, disposal items, fruits Stand, butchery and many more. This is just the beginning of the bigger picture just like Achimota bus station he added.
Present at the high table were Dr. Prince-Joseph Ayiku, MD of Lakeside Estate, Mr. Samuel Searyoh the Operations Manager, Eng. Edem Fiakumah, Chief Abubakar Yakubu and Mr. Raynold Owusu.
The Market was then officially launched with Cutting of Tape by Dr. Prince Joseph Ayiku to the Left, Madam Vivian Araba Kofie and Madam Erica Kaye in the middle and Mr. Felix Ameyaw to the right.
The event ended with the touring of the market and inspection of the project.
